thunderbolt pose-Vajrasana

Thunderbolt pose - This simple kneeling position is often adopted by Muslims and Buddists for prayer and meditation. as it encourages a sense of centering and steadiness. In yoga it is known as vajrasana ( thunderbolt Pose ) and is considered to stimulate the energy channel vajra nadi , which redirects base energy to the brain and encourages spiritual awareness. Kneel with the tops of your feet on the floor , sit back on your heels, and rest your palms lightly on your knees. You may need to place a folded blanket between your buttocks and heels and or/ under your ankles for comfort. feel how sitting with a straight, alert spine opens up space for energy to flow freely.
