Our Visiting Guest Teacher from India - Kanya Kanchana 's class-
universal yoga will take place on 9th November ( Tuesday ) @ 5:30pm to 7:00pm.

40 % proceeds as a charity fund. Please pay by End of October 2010 to confirm your attendance.

Bio
Kanya was born and brought up in the beautiful Southern India state of Kerela. She learned the first steps of Yoga as a child from her grandfather who was a student of Swami Sivananda and a lifelong practitioner of yoga.

Life changes , disillusionment with the corporate world and an amorphous need for something deeper brought her to yoga again - this time it brought about integration , focus and healing. After a transformational training with Andrey Lappa , it became cleat that this is the path she should follow. she hopes to continue learning , growing and helping others through life as practice, as yoga. She is deeply grateful to all her teachers and dedicates her practice to the attainment of higher consciousness and healing.

Her class start with good intention , have a strong basis in anatomy and alignment and use asana , pranayama , mudra , bandha , Kriya , meditation and shamanic healing methods to create positive change in and provide a beautiful experience for the students.

Kanya has recently started the mind 's Eye project , helping a group of visually-impaired students , some blind from birth or having additional disabilities , work with body , mind and spirit through yoga.
